Shaping our Future Transformation Board open to the public

Posted on December 14, 2017

On Tuesday 19 December, the Shaping our Future Transformation Board will take place at 2pm at the Trelawney Room, New County Hall, Truro, and members of the public are welcome to come along and listen to the discussion.

Shaping our Future brings together the NHS, social care and public health from across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to bring about positive and genuine improvement in health and social care delivery.

The agenda and supporting papers for the meeting are available here, and includes updates from the range of programmes emerging from the Shaping our Future priorities.

Head of Stakeholder Engagement for Shaping our Future, Dr Lou Farbus, will be giving a presentation on the recent co production workshops held with staff and people who use health and social care services using their expertise to help shape how services could be provided in the future.

Healthwatch Cornwall and Chair of the Citizens Advisory Panel will also be reflecting their independent views of the co-production and engagement process to date, and where it can be improved.

Kate Kennally, CE of Cornwall Council, will report on plans for adult social care, including the Better Care Fund, and the Board will hear on the progress for planning Cornwall’s Shadow Accountable Care System and addressing the recommendations from the most recent Care Quality Commission report on the local health and care system.

If you would like to attend, please email shaping.ourfuture2@nhs.net by 12pm on Monday 18 December.

Please note that spaces are limited so we may not be able to meet everyone’s request. Please do also let us know if you have any access requirements.

Parking for visitors and blue badge holders is available in the car park at the front of the building, subject to availability.
